Our speaker will be Rev. Bob Brach with music by Michael Lawson.
Rev. Bob Brach’s message is –
Title – “WORD POWER”. The theme – In Unity we are reminded of the power of our thoughts and the power of our words. Hopefully we have put “thought” into those “words” before we speak them. Florence Scovel Shinn in her book The Game of Life & How to Play It speaks to this fact in Chapter Three of her book. She underscores the Chapter title with a quote of Matthew 12:37 “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” These words have been attributed to Jesus of Nazareth by the writer of Matthew. Today we will look at some examples of “word power” and of people in our lives who have spoken words of power, notably…..women!
